Vision

WNP was founded on the belief that people, food, and planet are inextricably linked.

We leverage the environmental and hunger-relief movements to help advance the other and, ultimately, to create a larger coalition of support and activism. Additionally, the marketplace can serve as a driving force in propelling both movements forward, as the WNP model demonstrates.

“There are too few projects that are connecting environmentalism and the various segments of the disparate food system, and the Wide Net Project does just that.”
— Barton Seaver, chef, author, and director of Harvard's Healthy and Sustainable Food Program
