The Wide Net Project is the story
of one fish, a whole lot of problems,
and a straightforward solution.
The blue catfish has made its home in the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. The issue is that it doesn’t belong there. It multiplies quickly and eats pretty much all other marine life in its path, has taken over much of the Bay’s tributaries. On the plus side, though, the fish is absolutely delicious.
The Wide Net Project’s goal is to get as much fish out of the water as possible and feed our neighbors in need, while also supporting the local economy and conservation.
